Nepali U19 Cricket team registered a hammering victory against Saudi Arabia U 19 in the ACC U 19 Premier League at Malaysia on Thursday.

Saudi Arabia, who opted to bat first after winning the toss, made just 55 runs Before loosing all wicket in 32.2 overs. In Saudi Arabia's inning, Faisal Khan scored 19 runs while Zain made 11 runs. Sushil Kandel took four wickets for Nepal followed by Prem Tamang and Sunil Dhamala claiming 2 wickets each.
Chasing the target of 56 runs, Nepal successfully met the target in 9 overs just losing one wicket. Nepali opener Shankar Rana was out for just 3 runs. Another Opener Dhamala remained not out scoring 34 runs off 20 balls, joined by Raju Rijal who put up 14 runs on the board keeping his wicket intact.
Sushil Kandel was named Player of the Match for his Match winning performance with Bowl.
In the ACC U-19 Premier League tournament, Nepal defeated the UAE, Malaysia, and Kuwait but lost to Afghanistan. All three top teams have been selected to play ACC U-19 Cup.
