10. His Birth: Born in Illam, Nawayug is currently 25 years old..

8. Initial days in Kathmandu: He came to Kathmandu after his SLC. Nawayug tried his luck with ‘C’ division club – Tokha and Himalayan Sherpa which was then in ‘B’ division. He didn’t get much chance then.

3. Nepal National Team: Nawayug Shrestha made his debut in a match against India on August 31, 2015, being replaced for Jagajit Shrestha. The match ended in a goalless draw.
