Sri Lanka U 19 Beat Nepal by 65 runs

Kathmandu : Sri lanka u 19 Beat Nepal by 65 Runs in second warm up match of  ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup. Opting to bat first after Loosing the toss, Sri Lanka U 19 posted a total of 230 runs in 45 overs at the loss of 9 wickets. Ashan and KIC Asalanka* scored 81 and 71 runs respectively for the Lankan team team. For Nepal, Sunil Dhamala Sandip Lamichhane and sushil Kandel pick of 2 wickets each .

In reply Nepal Make just 165 run before all out in 42.2 Overs.

Nepal, who are in Group D of ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, will open the campaign with a match against New Zealand on January 28 before taking on Ireland two days later. Nepal will the face India on February 1. Top two teams each from four groups will advance to the Super League of ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, while the bottom two will play in Plate Championship.

Nepal, who are playing their seventh u 19 World Cup, had advanced to the second round in 2004 and won the Plate Championship two years later in Sri Lanka.
