Afghanistan U-19 beats Nepal by 83 Runs in their practice Match

Kathmandu : Nepal lost to Afghanistan by 83 Runs in their practice Match today at Vijay Dahiya Academy. Batting first after winning the toss, Afghanistan cricketers had set a target of 233 runs after losing four wickets in 45 overs. Tariq Stanikzai scored the highest 64 runs for Afghanistan. Naveed Obaid 44 (33) Ikram Khail 42*(43) Ihsanullah Janat 37 (69) Karim Janat 14 (26) contributions for their team. Nepali Spinner Aarif Sheikh claimed three wickets while Sandeep lamichhane pocketed two.


In reply of 233 Runs Nepal were bowled out for 149 runs in 43.1 overs. Dipendra Singh Airee top scored for Nepal with 42 runs in 40 balls. Here the Match summary.
